AirAsia X is pleased to announce the launch of Kathmandu, Nepal! The first flight departed from LCCT, Kuala Lumpur today 3 July 2012 at 11:45 and marks the path for many more flights to come!

Known as the city of seven lakes, Pokhara attracts trekkers and mountaineers alike with its popular mountains. A haven for adrenalin junkies, as they can get their fix of paragliding, canyoning, rafting, mountain biking and many other heart pumping activities!
Chitwan National Park is part of Nepal’s Inner Terai valleys that is still rich in natural wildlife and popular with conservationists since it’s induction as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984. Home to one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, king cobras and other over 700 species of wildlife as well as flora, their safaris are hard to miss.
Many Buddhist pilgrims flock to the holiest pilgrimage site, Lumbini – the birthplace of Lord Buddha (2552 B.C.). It is also known as the Fountain of World Peace and is on every pilgrims must visit list.
